Manila, Philippines – Love Gala, in partnership with LoveYourself, Inc., launches Project SPARK, a nationwide youth leadership and grants program designed to empower young changemakers from NCR, Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. Project SPARK aims to transform youth-led ideas into concrete, community-driven solutions that address some of the country’s most pressing social issues.

Open to applicants aged 15 to 30 years old, Project SPARK calls on young leaders who are passionate about LGBTQIA+ rights, mental health, HIV and sexual health, education, and women’s empowerment. More than a competition, the program is a leadership journey that nurtures purpose, accountability, and action.

Project SPARK Youth Leadership Program

Selected participants will undergo an immersive leadership bootcamp in Manila this November, where they will receive mentorship, skills-building sessions, and guidance on project development, sustainability, and impact measurement. The bootcamp is designed to equip youth leaders with practical tools to turn advocacy into action within their own communities.

A defining highlight of Project SPARK is the opportunity for participants to pitch their project ideas live on the Love Gala 2025 stage. This platform places youth voices at the heart of national advocacy, allowing their solutions to be seen, heard, and supported by a broader community of allies and partners.

Project SPARK Pitching and Grants

Four (4) winning teams will each receive a ₱250,000 grant to implement their projects in 2026. These grants are intended to support sustainable, youth-led initiatives that create measurable impact and respond directly to the needs of underserved and marginalized communities.

Project SPARK reflects Love Gala and LoveYourself’s continued commitment to investing in the next generation of leaders—young people who are not only passionate, but prepared to lead change with compassion, creativity, and courage.

Applications are open until August 31, 2025. Interested applicants may learn more and apply via lovegala.ph/project-spark or bit.ly/lovegalaspark.
