Behind the Mask: The 2017 LoveYourself Ball started off with an inspiring speech by Ronivin Pagtakhan about the organization’s achievements in 2017, encapsulating the year with a video. Pagtakhan further explained the upcoming goals and objectives for 2018, which included a new organizational scheme aimed to achieving LoveYourself’s strategic objectives. An elegant cotillon followed the heartwarming speech. Composed of the many beauties of LoveYourself, the cotillon definitely set the ball rolling alongside the spiritful singing of Allen Ramos.

Lady Gagita rocked the stage with a masterful lip sync performance to Lady Gaga’s Coachella renditions of Bad Romance and The Cure that kicked off the first Lip Sync Competition in LoveYourself. Joining Gagita in judging the competition were Rey Daniel Espinueva, a member of the House of Mizrahi Philippines, and Prince MJ Casaverde, the operations manager for DSTNQT.
