On July 11, 2026, following their visit to Jaringan Indonesia Positif (JIP) in Jakarta, the LoveYourself team met with Inti Muda Indonesia to hold a collaborative discussion on HIV management strategies across the Philippines and Indonesia.

Inti Muda Indonesia (Instructive Network to Create Involvement of Young Key Populations in Indonesia) is a national network supporting young key populations and youth living with HIV in Indonesia. Formed to address sexual and reproductive health challenges, the organization has been officially registered with the Ministry of Law and Human Rights since 2019.

The exchange provided a valuable opportunity for both advocacy groups to share local insights, align community-led strategies, and foster cross-border support to improve healthcare access and reduce stigma for youth affected by HIV.

Inti Muda Indonesia’s Advocacy

Inti Muda Indonesia drives change through targeted advocacy across global, national, and local levels to safeguard youth health and human rights. Globally, the network influences funding priorities and youth engagement through the Global Fund GC8 process while representing young key populations in regional policy discussions. Locally, the organization directly tackles discriminatory regional regulations that impede access to vital HIV and SRHR services.

On LoveYourself’s Campaigns

The LoveYourself team shared the campaigns being done by the organization in which numerous people (including digital media influencers) are involved to reach a wider scope of HIV awareness. They mentioned the demand generation campaign #WhatWorksForU campaign that aims to promote awareness on HIV and the option the key population has in terms of combination prevention.

The discussion between two organizations marked a symbol of shared advocacy, championing HIV awareness and management while understanding the struggles from local to global scope of each organization
