Singer-actor Markki Stroem and Mister Gay World 2020 Kodie Macayan will be speakers on HIV prevention that works for them alongside other influencers and advocates. Their participation is part of LoveYourself’s newest campaign: #WhatWorksForU, a new and innovative campaign for HIV prevention and testing, which will be launched at Power Up!

“Power Up,” a LoveYourself event, hits three essential aspects to stop HIV and ultimately end AIDS: the Power of People, Advocacy, and Prevention.

“As a community, we Power Up our volunteers to empower them to continue creating more ripples of positive change and inspire our community that we are stronger than HIV and AIDS,” LoveYourself founder executive director Ronivin Pagtakhan said.

“After all, the Power of advocacy will lead us to a safer society away from stigma and discrimination; thus, we launch the ‘# WhatWorksForU’ campaign that aims to give Power to people to take control of their sexual health and reduce the transmission of HIV by highlighting the different prevention methods available to them,” Pagtakhan added.

Hosted by Joy Barcoma, more influencers and advocates are expected to join the “Power Up” event. Register here to join: https://bit.ly/PowerUp21May23.
