LoveYourself proudly participated in the Partnership Meeting for the resumption of the Philippine National Convention on AIDS (PNCA), convened by the AIDS Society of the Philippines (ASP) on January 21, 2026 at the Department of Health – Disease Prevention and Control Bureau (DOH-DPCB) Training Room.

The meeting gathered key stakeholders from government, development partners, civil society organizations, and international agencies to strengthen collaboration and align efforts in advancing the country’s HIV response as preparations for PNCA 2026 move forward.

Representing LoveYourself, the organization reaffirmed its commitment to community-led HIV prevention, testing, treatment literacy, and stigma reduction, emphasizing the importance of sustained partnerships in reaching key populations and expanding access to services. The discussion provided a valuable platform to share insights from community-based implementation and to contribute perspectives on improving reach, engagement, and continuity of care.

ASP facilitated a productive and forward-looking discussion that highlighted the shared commitment of partners to a strengthened and more inclusive PNCA 2026. The meeting underscored the importance of coordinated action in addressing gaps in HIV prevention and care, while building on the progress achieved through years of multi-sectoral collaboration.

Participants included the DOH-DPCB, DPCB/ICAP, Philippine National AIDS Council (PNAC), WHO Philippines, US CDC Philippines, AHF, FHI 360, PSFI-PROTECTS, DHAPP Philippines, Quezon City Health Department, UNAIDS, AFRIMS, SHIP, RITM, PhilHealth, LoveYourself Inc., SLH and MDC (The HUB), and Network Plus Philippines.

LoveYourself expresses its gratitude to ASP and all partners for fostering a meaningful space for dialogue and coordination. The organization looks forward to continued collaboration leading up to PNCA 2026, ensuring that community voices remain central in shaping a stronger and more responsive national HIV agenda.
