The LoveYourself Sportsfest, proudly sponsored by Luxecare, was held from March 29 to 31 at Dumlao Sports Center, bringing together volunteers and staff for a spirited volleyball event centered on teamwork, energy, and community spirit. All participating teams were composed of LoveYourself volunteers and staff who competed in friendly matches that highlighted strong serves, quick digs, accurate sets, and powerful spikes. Each rally showcased not only individual skill but also coordination, communication, and court awareness, reflecting how well everyone worked together on the floor.
Beyond the competition, the event created a space for connection and wellness as volunteers and staff strengthened bonds outside of their service work. The matches emphasized collective effort and mutual support, with every play contributing to a shared sense of camaraderie on and off the court. Across three days, the atmosphere remained competitive yet encouraging, with teams pushing each other to improve while keeping the spirit of friendship alive.
After a series of intense volleyball matches, Welcome Crushers emerged as Champions through consistent play and strong execution in key moments. Smash Bros finished as 1st Runner-Up, followed by Team DIOSSA-Lily as 2nd Runner-Up, and Athena Northern Warriors as 3rd Runner-Up. The Sportsfest ultimately highlighted how volleyball can bring volunteers and staff together through teamwork, shared effort, and lasting connections built through every rally.
