Let’s TESTMNL! is the latest anonymous HIV screening event of LoveYourself Inc. powered by TestMNL. The screening is fast, easy, and totally anonymous. The event will be held on May 28, 2017 (Sunday) at Victoria Court Malate from 10:00am – 7:00pm.

Sign up at go.loveyourself.ph/testmnl to join Let’s TESTMNL! You will receive a confirmation notice two days prior the event (May 26, 2017, Friday).

Similar to Incognito 2.0 in November 2016, Let’s TESTMNL! aims to reach out to key-affected populations that still undergo the stigma of getting tested for HIV. The event prioritizes strict confidentiality and quick screening procedures during the event.

Participants no longer need to fill out lengthy forms encountered at many testing clinics. Instead, you just need to give your contact information upon registration, and you’ll be given a Unique Identifier Code (UIC). An available counselor will then attend to you, and after the test is done, the results will be ready in 15-20 minutes.

LoveYourself assures that even with a quicker screening process, Let’s TESTMNL! will give out results that are as reliable as past whole-day testing events since the same rapid test kits in LoveYourself clinics will be used. The 3rd generation rapid test has 100% accuracy for non-reactive clients.

In case a client gets a reactive result in the test, they will need to provide their full information for the Paperless Personal Information Sheet (DOH-NEC form). This is necessary for confirmatory testing and referrals to accessible treatment facilities. Results of the confirmatory test normally takes two hours.

During the waiting period, clients will be briefed about the screening process and HIV information materials will be distributed. Snacks will also be served.

In summary, there are three steps that one must remember in getting tested at the Let’s TESTMNL! HIV screening event:

  1. Be Anonymous: Upon your arrival at Victoria Court Malate, you will get a number and unique identifier code.
  2. Take the Test: You will undergo screening with blood extracted by a simple prick on your finger using disposable, one-time-use, sanitary needles.
  3. Get the Results: While waiting for the results, your counselor will discuss safer sex practices to lower your risk of HIV infection. It only takes 15 minutes to know the results after blood extraction, and your counselor will also be there to discuss your results.
