Leading HIV Advocacy Group offering Free HIV Test
The fight on human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) continues alongside the battle with COVID-19 as the nation observed the Philippine International AIDS Candlelight Memorial (PIACM) on May 17 for Light Up, an online concert ceremony.
Advocacy queens Pia Wurtzbach and Catriona Gray will be leading side by side the first-ever online concert ceremony of the Philippine International AIDS Candlelight Memorial (IACM) on Sunday, May 17, at 4PM.
Miss Universe Titleholders Pia Wurtzbach and Catriona Gray headlined the Rise As One: An Online Concert that happened last April 12 at the Champion Community Centers’ Facebook page.
As its partner for many of its projects for the community, LoveYourself is pleased to announce that Macare thru its partner Cepheid developed a cost-efficient test kit for COVID-2019 dubbed as Xpert Xpress SARS-CoV-2. The test kits, which are compatible with the automated real-time PCR GeneXpert machine, have arrived in Manila on Friday. The Xpert Xpress test kit only costs PhP1,200.00, and one test is equal to one reportable patient result.

Anchoring on the theme of WAD 2019 – “Communities Make the Difference,” the Spectrum: Color Run for HIV will be graced by Miss Universe 2015 and UNAIDS Goodwill Ambassador for Asia and the Pacific Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach, HIV celebrity advocates Dionne Monsanto, Kitkat, Miss World Philippines 2018 Katarina Rodriguez, and Miss Universe Philippines 2014 MJ Lastimosa. Despite her nearing international pageant, Miss Universe Philippines 2019 Gazini Ganados also showed her passion to rally for the cause.
Miss Universe-Philippines 2019 Gazini Ganados, together with LoveYourself Inc. and the City Government of Talisay, champions the HIV advocacy in Cebu in an outreach program held on Saturday – October 12 at the People’s Hall of the city.
